Message from Conference Chair

Lydia F. Crutchfield

Cheers, my fellow occupational health colleagues,

It is an absolute pleasure to serve as your 2024 AOHP National Conference Chair! The real pleasure is working as a team to bring the best elements of a conference to help you help others. As you are helping others, you are not forgotten, for our conferences are held with you, one of the most important aspects of our industry, in mind. We share our love for volunteering through providing exciting venues, pertinent education, intentional relationship building, valuable networking, vital continuing education credits, and enjoyable activities.

We are excited for the conference to be held in the heart of the country in Fort Worth, Texas. Did you know that Fort Worth is the fifth largest city in Texas? And, did you know one of Bonnie and Clyde's hideouts from the law was the historic Stockyards Hotel? The city continues to feature its 'cattle connection' with a free twice-daily cattle drive where Texas cowhands drive a herd of Texas Longhorns down Exchange Ave. Come see, explore, experience, and learn all you can in Fort Worth!

There's plenty of time to plan your wardrobe for the Boots & Bling Affair, so dust off your cowboy boots, skirts, bolo ties, and hats, and make room for them in your travel bags. The conference, including this event, will be a memorable one!

Everything is bigger and better in Texas. See you there!
